Many global companies have been involved in building high-end technology for mosques around the world. One of the most interesting is the new ‘smart mosque’ solution by Honeywell. Their technology helps in climate management solution that uses the mosques GPS location and the current date to calculate pray times and bring down the internal temperature of the mosque before the arrival of the worshipers.
Chinese company ZTE has also developed a solution for public safety using RFID technology, which allows mosque managers to analyze how many people are visiting the mosque, the peak times and any crowding issues. It also helps worshipers to access smart services such as contactless payment, personal lockers, smart parking and GPS location through an all-in-one ‘smart card’.

This code will give them access to information on the history, capacity, nature, area, prayer timings, lectures or courses offered by the mosque, along with information about Friday sermon..
